Dr. Sarah Alam (Ph.D., Ed.D.) is an AI governance strategist, educator, and human‑centred transformation leader based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Her career spans global education, public diplomacy, international development, migration and diaspora leadership, and responsible AI strategy bringing together technology, policy, and human‑centred global leadership in a way few leaders can.

Recognized by the U.S. Department of State during International Education Week 2005 as Alumnus of the Month, Dr. Sarah began her global journey as a youth ambassador for iEARN International, advocating for women, children, and intercultural dialogue across international platforms. Through multiple scholarships and U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs funded exchange programs, she developed early expertise in diplomacy, cultural exchange, and global leadership.

Her professional foundation was shaped through her work in public diplomacy and international education, where she strengthened youth leadership, intercultural dialogue, and global partnerships across South Asia, Europe, North Africa, and East Asia. As a former Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Consulate Karachi, she collaborated closely with diplomats, policymakers, civil society leaders, and international networks to advance educational access, cultural preservation, and community development.
